Had this tonight at 33 wine bar in STL. Was wonderful to have a varietal old world Cab Franc as the others I have had have always been California. I initially found it to be a fairly simple blue fruit driven wine. But after a couple hours open in bottle, really opened up. Lots of vegetal blueberry violet on the nose. In the end, it was a deliciously balanced wine with beautifully restrained fruit flavors.
